Äkillisistä vedenjakelun keskeytyksistä ilmoitamme tekstiviestillä. Viesti voidaan lähettää myös työajan ulkopuolella, jolloin kyseessä todennäköisesti on vesijohdon vuoto lähialueellasi ja lisätietoa häiriöstä ei vielä ole saatavilla.

Interruption in the water supply
Did you receive a text message from us?
We inform about sudden interruptions in the water supply by text message. You might receive the message outside working hours in which case the reason is most likely a leaking water pipe near your address and more information about it is not available yet.
Sudden interruptions in the water supply are marked out on our interference map.

The repair work may take several hours but you will receive a text mesage as soon as your water supply is restored.
During breaks in the water supply you must keep taps closed
The repair work may cause hard sediment to loosen from the pipe walls and it may damage your water equipment. When the repair work is finished we flush the pipes until the water clears, but the tap water may still be discoloured. Discoloured water is not dangerous to your health and the colour usually clears if you let the water run from your taps for a while. Discoloured water may colour your white laundry though. If your water donesn’t clear despite running it from your taps, contact us.
A temporary water distribution point
If the interruption in the water supply lasts for over 24h, we will arrange for a temporary water distribution point from which you can pick up water in your own containers. We will inform you about the location of such a distribution point in our newsletters an via text message. The distribution point will also be marked out on our interference map.
